INDIANAPOLIS – Treyton Zastrow came off the bench to hit eight 3-pointers to help the Wisconsin Playground Warriors roll past Splash City on Sunday afternoon at UAA II in Indy.
Zastrow connected on his first four 3-pointers in the first half. That helped the Warriors take a three-point lead into the break.
With the offense sparked, the Playground Warriors began to pull away with seven straight points in transition from Terrence Thompson and Jalen Johnson. Thompson and Jonathan Davis would go to work in the paint in the closing minutes opening up a 53-40 lead.
Johnson flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 11 points, 10 boards and seven assists. Mason Madsen added 11 points as well. Zastrow ended with 24 points in 22 minutes.
Brice Monroe led Splash City with 16.
